Be nearby
Position yourself near popular spots: landmarks, parks, event venues, anywhere people will want great photos.

When a request comes in, accept it and the app guides both you and the client to meet. Some are on the spot, some are booked ahead. Take 9 photos and a short video.

Photos upload automatically. Once the client receives their images, your half of the price plus the whole tip is deposited weekly directly into your account.
Who we're looking for
No studio, no training, no portfolio. This is the whole list.
- You're 18 or older, with a modern phone. You pass an identity check before you can accept sessions, and that is the only check there is.
- You take good photos on your phone. That is the skill. Our Personal Paparazzi aren't necessarily professional photographers, in the same way rideshare drivers weren't professional drivers before joining.
- You know your own city. You know where people want their picture taken, and where the light is good at six in the evening.
- You're comfortable with strangers. A client who feels relaxed takes a better photo, and putting people at ease for five minutes is most of the job.
- You're already out and about. This is gig work on foot, so there is no gas to buy, no wear on your tires, and nothing to pay before you start. Being nearby is worth more than being fast.

Accept the request
Somebody a few streets away wants photos, there and then or at a time they booked. The app walks you to them.

Take the photos
Stand back far enough to get the place in the frame with them. Give one instruction at a time, and check each frame before you move on: nine photos and one short video is the whole delivery.

Check they are happy. The photos upload on their own while you walk away.

Do I need to be a professional photographer?
No. Our Personal Paparazzi aren't necessarily professional photographers, in the same way rideshare drivers weren't professional drivers before joining. You need a good eye and a modern phone camera.
What do I get paid?
You keep 50% of the price: $10.00 on an on-demand session, $15.00 on one the client booked ahead, and 100% of any tip. Earnings are deposited weekly, once the client receives their images.
How long does one session take?
The session itself typically takes less than five minutes. You take nine photos and one short video, and they upload automatically.
What equipment do I need?
A modern smartphone with a good camera. No professional equipment is required, and we'll provide tips and guidance to help you deliver great results.
Do I have to work set hours?
No. Work whenever you want, with no set schedule. Position yourself near popular spots and accept the requests you want, whether they come in on the spot or were booked ahead.
What checks do I have to pass?
An identity verification: we confirm you are who you say you are. You also need to be 18 or older and to complete a short onboarding process.
How do booked sessions reach me?
The same way as any other. An invitation goes out to several Personal Paparazzi and the first to accept takes it. A booked session is arranged up to seven days ahead, for a time and a place the client chose, and it pays $15.00 instead of $10.00.
